Keeping cats healthy - NutriCat survey

A survey has been commissioned by NutriCat of over 1000 cat owners to assess lifestyle and eating habits.
The results showed that over half (54%) of cat owners believe that their cat shares similar emotions to them with a third saying their cat is a better listener than their partner! The survey also showed that feeding various treats is common, but this may also lead to an increased risk of the cat becoming overweight or obese. FAB contributed a list of TOP TEN TIPS for keeping your cat healthy, which can be downloaded here, and the full NutriCat report can be downloaded here.

Calling all breeders
– is your Queen having a litter of kittens
this year?
If so, please consider
taking part in an exciting new study being conducted
by the University of Lincoln into kitten development.
The results of the study will help provide much
needed information on the mechanisms which underpin
feline behaviour development. The study will involve
participants recording basic stages of kitten development
(such their weight and times at which certain events
occur, e.g. eyes opening), and will only take a
few minutes each day to complete. Your Queen doesn't
need to be a specific breed or a certain age.
To take part in this important study, please contact
Rachael King at Wood Green Animal Shelters: e-mail:rachael.king@woodgreen.org.uk
or Tel: 0844 248 81 81 ext 1305. |
