The European Society of Feline Medicine (ESFM) was established by the Feline Advisory Bureau (FAB) in 1996 as an organisation to provide a focus for veterinarians with a special interest in feline medicine throughout Europe.
ESFM produces an internationally peer-reviewed journal the Journal of Feline Medicine and Surgery (JFMS) and runs the largest feline medicine congress in Europe, as well as a number of other feline medicine study days.

The Journal of Feline Medicine and Surgery is an international journal, and the official journal of both the European Society of Feline Medicine and the American Association of Feline Practitioners.
It is published monthly in two formats. The 'classic' editions and the 'clinical practice' editions...

ESFM's Annual Feline Congress, has been running since 2002 and in this time has earned an excellent reputation for providing first-class presentations, in great locations, with a fabulous social programme.

For 2010 we are in Amsterdam covering the subjects of feline dentistry and feline pain management. Leading our team of expert speakers will be Dr Philippe Hennet from Paris on dentistry and Dr Sheliah Robertson from Florida on pain managment.

ESFM Feline Symposium, pre-BSAVA Congress
ESFM runs an annual feline symposium the day before the start of the BSAVA Congress. The aim of the symposium is to provide veterinary practitioners with practical advice as well as giving them something new to think about.

Membership of the European Society of Feline Medicine is for veterinary surgeons. As a member you receive the monthly Journal of Feline Medicine and Surgery and receive educational vouchers that can be redeemed against esfm conferences.
