Maud qualified from the University of Utrecht as a veterinary surgeon and her subsequent thesis on feline amyloidosis led to a special interest in feline medicine. She spent several years in practice in The Netherlands before coming to the UK and completing the Feline Advisory Bureau residency in Feline Medicine at the University of Bristol.
Maud then worked in a big veterinary hospital in Bristol, before joining Hill’s UK in August 2003 as a Veterinary Business Advisor (VBA) in which role she worked closely with practices to develop business plans that combined clinical excellence with commercial common sense.
In 2006 she joined the Hill’s European team as its Scientific and Technical Affairs Manager and is responsible for all technical output as well as technical training of the Hill’s staff.
