Tim Gruffydd-Jones came to Bristol in 1975, first as Wellcome Scholar, gaining a PhD on reproduction in cats in 1982, and then as Lecturer in Small Animal Medicine and Clinical Pathology. He became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 1998, and was appointed to a chair in Feline Medicine in 1999.    He is interested in all aspects of feline medicine, but particularly infectious diseases, gastroenterology and endocrine disorders.
