ESFM Feline Congress in Birmingham full
The promise of practical advice from Feline Advisory Bureau (FAB) and Animal Health Trust experts for the treatment and management of feline tuberculosis, mammary tumours, uveitis and seizures in cats has proved to be a popular mix for the European Society of Feline Medicine (ESFM) Congress.
As the capacity audience of 300 has been reached, the organisers are faced with having to turn away further requests to attend. The ESFM Feline Congress 2009, sponsored by Hill’s and Intervet-Schering Plough is to be held just before the BSAVA Congress in Hall 5 of the International Convention Centre, Birmingham on April 1.
“We are placed in the enviable and frustrating position of having to return cheques from those wishing to attend for a second consecutive ESFM conference,’ said Claire Bessant, Chief Executive of FAB, the charity that provides the administration for ESFM. ‘We hate to disappoint anyone interested in learning more about cats and will be doing our best to meet the growing demand for feline CPD.’
Places are still available (at the moment!) for the next opportunity to attend an ESFM Congress, this time on ‘Feline ER – accident and emergency in general practice’ in Dubrovnik (June 19 – 21).
Registration costs £400.00 (€525.00). ESFM members can use three £20.00 educational vouchers.
To register for the courses please download the CPD registration form at www.fabcats.org and return to the FAB office, Taeselbury, High Street, Tisbury, Wiltshire SP3 6LD or, alternatively, call FAB on 0870 742 2278 to make your booking.
Ends - March 24, 2009
For further details contact Karen Bessant, FAB press officer on telephone 01380 827 142, kbessant@aol.com or from the FAB headquarters on 0870 742 2278.
