FAB Easy to Give Award goes to Clavaseptin

 
Richard Irvine (left), Veterinary Advisor for Vetoquinol, receives the Feline Advisory Bureau (FAB) Easy to Give Award 2009 for Clavaseptin from FAB Chief Exceutive Claire Bessant and FAB Chairman Andy Sparkes, during the European Society of Feline Medicine (ESFM) Congress in Dubrovnik on June 20. The FAB feline expert panel awarded Clavaseptin because it is a highly palatable formulation of amoxicillin/clavulanic acid that cats can chew. No other Easy to Give Awards were made in 2009.
 
Since 2005 FAB has annually rewarded drug companies whose products are easier to give to cats, making life better for vets, owners and feline patients alike, with its Easy to Give Award. In total, 18 products have received awards. Winners can use the FAB ‘Easy to Give’ logo when advertising their winning products.
